Monday, Aug. 3

10:15 a.m. A resident of Pace Lane reported a company-owned laptop computer stolen from her vehicle.

12:20 p.m. Police were dispatched to Pea Ridge Intermediate School for a white and brown English bulldog running in the roadway; the dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. It did have a microchip. The dog's owner claimed the dog. The resident of Watie Street said he had just moved to town and did not know the city's ordinance about dogs. He purchased a city dog tag.

3:07 p.m. Police were dispatched to White Oak station for a hit and run accident. A vehicle owned by William A. Biddle, 38, Bentonville, was hit by the driver of an older model Toyota. The incident is under investigation.

5:58 p.m. An employee of Dollar General store reported a shoplifting involving two females taking a bag of charcoal. The incident is under investigation.

7:06 p.m. Police were dispatched to a "rolling disturbance on Weston Street." Police interviewed both parties and warned them against harassing one another.

Tuesday, Aug. 4

2 p.m. Police were dispatched to Wright's Laundry for a burglary. It was reported that sometime between 4 p.m. Monday and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday someone had illegally entered the office area and taken quarters, tokens and a key to the dumpster. There was no sign of forced entry.

5:30 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on WMB Franklin for a stray dog; they picked up a dapple-gray colored Daschund that had been "hanging out" at the residence.

8:53 p.m. Police were dispatched to Dollar General for a disturbance no longer in progress involving a man who was yelling at the clerk because his vehicle was towed from the parking lot. The employee did not wish to press charges.

Wednesday, Aug. 5

4:48 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Van Dorn Street for a disturbance. There was a report of a male who appeared to be intoxicated lying in the street. As a result of the investigation, police arrested James Michael Thornton, 26, Springfield, Mo., for public intoxication and on warrants from other agencies.

2:30 p.m. A resident of Griffin Lane reported a 17-year-old male missing.

Thursday, Aug. 6

9:20 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Robert Daniel Heflin, 40, Rogers, for driving on a suspended driver's license. He was also cited for no insurance and fictitious tags.

6 p.m. A resident of Blair Circle reported a theft involving someone opening an account with Dish Network in his name.

Friday, Aug. 7

6:15 p.m. Police were dispatched to a private property accident on South Curtis Avenue involving a vehicle driven by Kevin A. West, 47, Pea Ridge, that reportedly backed into a vacuum station at the car wash.

8:52 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Washburn Drive for a disturbance involving a handgun. A resident of the area reported a grey Ford pickup truck driving fast and sliding sideways. The reporting party said the driver grabbed a handgun when he told him to slow down. Both men were interviewed and warned about their behavior. Neither wanted to press charges.

Saturday, Aug. 8

2:06 p.m. Police were dispatched to the Police Department parking lot for a disturbance. A female resident of Rogers said she was attempting to leave her boyfriend when he began following her in Rogers. She said he broke her side mirror on her car. It was determined that no crimes occurred in the city limits.

4:18 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Danelle M. Deleon, 25, on a Benton County warrant for failure to appear.

Sunday, Aug. 9

3 a.m. While on patrol in Standing Oaks subdivision, police were flagged down by a 17-year-old white male who reported his 2004 Pontiac Grand Am had been stolen. He reported that he was walking on Luke Street when he saw his car drive away on Farrell Street about 2 a.m. He told police he called a friend and they had been driving around looking for it. He said he left his keys i the car as well as his wallet, a compound bow and a Blackhawk football jersey. Police issued a BOLO, Be on the lookout, for the vehicle.

Monday, Aug. 10

12:30 p.m. An employee at McDonald's reported narcotic medication stolen from her vehicle parked at the restaurant.

1:20 p.m. A resident of Griffin Lane reported someone had entered the residence without permission.

2:15 p.m. Police received a report of a United Parcel Service truck hitting a mail box on East Watie Street. An investigation revealed no damage to the truck.

Tuesday, Aug. 11

3:30 p.m. Police received a report of brush dumped at the Pea Ridge Cemetery.

2 p.m. Police took Aarison Wright, 19, Pea Ridge, and Thomas J. McClain, 26, Pea Ridge, to Benton County Jail for court commits.

4:48 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Martin Morua Gomez, 51, Rogers, for DWI, driving while license suspended and prohibited driving.

Wednesday, Aug. 12

11:07 a.m. Police took a report of theft of property involving 19 weed eaters missing from Castle Rental.

11:45 a.m. Police took a report of a private property accident involving a vehicle driven by Patrick Barnett, 49, Paris, Ark., and a parked vehicle owned by Jerry Coleman, 60, Fayetteville.

Thursday, Aug. 13

4 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hayden Road for a report of a theft of a vehicle. During the investigation, it was discovered that a resident of the house, Allen Hoskins, 54, Pea Ridge, was wanted on a felony warrant out of Washington County. He was taken to the Benton County Jail. Hoskins reported he let someone drive his 2006 Ford pickup truck in July and it has not been returned.

6:40 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Todd Circle for a disturbance.

Friday, Aug. 14

1:54 p.m. A resident of Humphrey Street reported finding a purse in their back yard.

3:15 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hutchinson Street for a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, Gale A. Roland, 35, Rogers, was issued a trespass warning.

11:24 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hayden Road for an abandoned bicycle. The 18-speed bicycle was taken to the police station.
