Lions Club members grateful

On behalf of the Pea Ridge Lions Club, we would like to offer special thanks to some folks who help make our Race for Sight a success each year. The funds earned from our activities are used toward helping people in our area with sight issues and glasses. This year, our goal is to purchase a camera that will help in diagnosing vision issues in young children with the hope of treating and preventing long term vision impairment.

Special thanks to Bill Patterson for allowing us to utilize his farm for our race. We recognize that by allowing us this use we inconvenience him in the efforts that it takes to prepare a track for the racers, as well as parking for attendees. It is much appreciated.

Also, special thanks to Annette Beard for promoting the race beforehand, as well as the coverage the day of the race. It was outstanding.
