Deloris Ann Blake

Deloris Ann Blake, 68, of Pea Ridge, died Tuesday, March 31, in the Circle of Life Hospice Center. She was born July 1, 1946, in Amarillo, Texas.

She worked for years in management with Wal-Mart in the insurance claims department.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Weldon and Faye Nell Sain Nance.

Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Blake of Pea Ridge; two sons and daughters-in-law, Luap and Lasandra McKeever and James and Marie McKeever; one daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Robert Moore Sr.; two brothers, Richard Nance Jr. and David Nance; four sisters, Peggy Foster, Sandy Faulkenberry, Nancy Porterfield and Karen Hibdon; nine grandchildren, Tausha Crawford, Robert Moore Jr., Alicia Newman, Valerie McKeever, Kristyn McKeever, Rebekah McKeever, Wyatt McKeever, Hunter Bruce and LeAndra Peters; and two great-grandchildren, Zachary Crawford and Jona Crawford.

A memorial service was held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 6, at Harbor of Praise in Bentonville.

Arrangements were under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home , Rogers.

Lynne Catherine Carnes

Lynne Catherine Carnes, 67, of Seligman, Mo., died March 30, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.

Visitation was 1-2 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015, at First Baptist Church, Monett, Mo.

A celebration of life was held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 6, at First Baptist, Monett, Mo.

Inurnment was in IOOF Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Epting Funeral Home Bentonville.

Georgia Darlene Dye

Georgia Darlene Dye, 94, of Garfield, died April 5 at Shiloh Nursing and Rebab in Springdale. She was born July 14, 1920, to Oscar Robinette and Lula Pearl Burton Robinette.

She lived in the area since 1960. She retired from Union Carbide in Rogers and was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer Dye; a son, Robert Dye; a son-in-law, Max McNabb; four brothers; and five sisters.

Survivors include a son, John Dye and wife Linda of Seligman, Mo.; a daughter, Sue McNabb of Washburn, Mo.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

No visitation was scheduled.

Graveside services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday April 8, at Seligman, Mo., City Cemetery with Pastor Bob Scott officiating.

Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Freda Mae Fletcher

Freda Mae Fletcher, 93, of Pea Ridge, died April 4 at Legacy Hospice in Bentonville. She was born Dec. 26, 1921, in the Pleasant Ridge community east of Rogers to William Fred Pollock and Stella May Garvin Pollock.

She married Jack Fletcher Sr. on Dec. 12, 1939.

She worked for RTW for 13 years in the mining department and loved to quilt. She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary, the Shady Grove EH Club and the Bella Vista Wesleyan Church in Bella Vista.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Fletcher Sr. in 1992; six brothers, Kenneth, Homer, Richard, Fred, Robert and Dwayne Pollock; five sisters, Imogene Thompson, Pauline Noland, Mary Hopper, Hazel Jones and Faye Noland; one great-grandson; and one great-great-grandson.

Survivors include two sons, Neil Fletcher and wife Annie and A.J. Fletcher Jr. and wife Frances, all of Pea Ridge; a daughter, Charlotte Foster and husband Ronnie of Pea Ridge; two sisters-in-law, Shirley and Pauline of Rogers; 11 grandchildren, Andrea Burgess (Allen), Franklin Fletcher (Tammy), Andy Fletcher (Paula), Alan Fletcher (Tina), Teresa Tate (Phil), Robbie Foster and late wife Deanna, David Fletcher (Delois), Stanley Foster (Julie), Daniel Fletcher, Kenneth Foster (Evelyn) and Jason Fletcher (Megan); 35 great-grandchildren; and 44 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at the funeral home.

Service is at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, at Woodland Wesleyan Church, 107 Trafalgar Rd., Bella Vista, with pastor David Hadsell officiating.

Burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers.

Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Ruby Bell Hughes

Ruby Bell Hughes, 86, of Pea Ridge died, March 30, 2015, at Ashley Health and Rehab in Rogers. She was born Oct. 23, 1928, in Cane Hill, Ark., to Harvey Weston Harris and Josephine Hall Harris.

She married Harold Roy Hughes Feb. 9, 1947.

She worked for Heines Steakhouse in Springdale for many years and drove a school bus in Anaheim, Calif., for 11 years. She and Harold moved to Pea Ridge in 1990 to make their home. She enjoyed crocheting and making Swedish weave afghans.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Betty Harris; and a brother, William Harris.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Hughes of the home; two sons, Michael Hughes and wife Julie of Sacremento, Calif., and David Hughes and wife Janice of Laguna Hills, Calif.; a daughter, Tonya Dumont and husband David of San Jose, Calif.; a sister, Jenny Fletcher of Fayetteville; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation was at 10 a.m. before the service Saturday.

Service was at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at Westside Baptist Church in Pea Ridge with Pastor Anthony Lane officiating.

Burial was in Pea Ridge Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Joe Howard Lasater

Joe Howard Lasater, 92, died April 4, 2015, from complications of a stroke at the Circle of Life Legacy Village Hospice in Bentonville with his wife and family by his side. He was born on June 29, 1922, in Pea Ridge to Abbie Vivian Mount Lasater and Robert Allen"Jim" Lasater.

On Jan. 25, 1947, Joe married Mary Ann Ruth Murphy at the Centerton United Methodist Church with the Reverend Catherine Ferrell officiating.

Mr. Lasater enjoyed being outdoors, riding horses and being with family and extended family. In his later years he enjoyed dancing at Snow's Red Barn in Jacket, Mo.

He and his wife, Mary Ann, were charter members of the Pea Ridge Free Will Baptist Church where he was a deacon for 40 years. In the mid 1990s, Joe became of the Methodist faith and later he and Mary Ann became members of the Oakley Chapel UMC.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corp (Air Force) in October 1942 and was honorably discharged in January 1946. After returning home, he and his older brother, Jack owned and operated the Lasater Brothers Phillips 66 Station, buying and selling used cars on the side for over 40 years. He believed that honesty and integrity was very important throughout their business years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Don (who died as a child), Jack J. and Jene.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Mary Ann; daughters, Janice Lasater and Donna Lasater, both of Bella Vista; a son, John Lasater and daughter-in-law, Sandy, of Pea Ridge; granddaughters, Shannon Brown and her husband Ryan and their child Serenity of Lowell, Shawn Lasater of Bentonville; and grandsons by marriage, Patrick Mitchell (wife, Amy) and their two daughters, Ellia and Marys of Springfield, Mo., and Ryan Mitchell (wife Krystal) and daughter Quinn of Centerton.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Oakley Chapel United Methodist Church in Rogers.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oakley Chapel United Methodist Church in Rogers with pastors Shane Pair and Jim Keith officiating.

Inurnment will take place at a later date in Pea Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Circle of Life Hospice Center, Legacy Village, Oakley Chapel UMC or Pea Ridge Historical Society.

Arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Marie Ross

Marie Edwards Reynolds Ross, 96, of Garfield, died on April 1, 2015, at her home. She was born March 18, 1919, in Somerset, Ken., to Dr. Hampton Worthington Edwards and Sarah Elizabeth Hines.

She was the sixth of six children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters, two nieces; her first husband of 48 years, Leon Reynolds of Rogers, and her second husband of 15 years Herbert Ross of Garfield.

She loved the Lord. She read her Bible daily, spent time in prayer, read numerous Christian books and lots of Christian literature. She loved singing the old hymns and loved her church family. She spent a lifetime living as an example of what a Christian should be.

Mrs. Ross loved her family. She loved family gatherings, holidays and birthdays. She enjoyed her grandchildren and their families and all of their many activities. Her presence will be deeply missed by all.

Survivors include a son, Gary Reynolds and wife Deanna of Avoca; one daughter, Susan Morrison and husband Zannie of Garfield; five granddaughters, Sheryl Peters of Punta Gorda, Fla., Amy Elliott, Heidi Goodart and Cindy Gibson, all of Avoca, and Wendy Swafford of Conway; 10 great-grandchildren, Klassy, Samantha, Jessica, Brandon, Ragan, Katie, Cameron, Cali, Brianna and Nash; and two great-great grandchildren, Lilly and Wyatt.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, April 12, at Garfield Church of Christ, directly after morning worship, with Bobby Vaughn officiating.

Burial will be at Rogers City Cemetery at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
