A second arrest has been made by Pea Ridge Police in connection with drugs and drug paraphernalia found in a residence on Van Dorn Street on March 13.

As a result of information gathered through the investigation, police received a warrant for the arrest of Kayla Lestie Summey, 24, Rogers. Police contacted Summey on March 17, but she did not meet police as she agreed. She was arrested March 18 for possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, both felonies.

David Scott Johnson, 43, Garfield, was arrested March 13 for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and parole violation, all felonies. He was still in the Benton County Jail Tuesday, March 31, in lieu of a $3,500 bond on the drug charges and no bond on the parole violation, according to jail records.

Summey was released on a bond the evening of March 18, according to the police report.

Numerous items of evidence including syringes, pills, metal spoons with white granular substance, a pill cutter, marijuana pipe, metal straw, machete knife, pornography were seized and documented.
