Tuesday, Sept. 16

11:59 a.m. A resident of General Franz Sigel Circle reported three dogs running loose in the neighborhood; they were not aggressive. They were caught and taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. Two of the dogs were claimed by their owner, Carmen Ellis, 34, Pea Ridge, who was cited for two counts of dog at large and two counts of no city dog tags.

5:33 p.m. A resident of Oakley Street reported fraudulent activity involving someone withdrawing money from his bank account. The incident is under investigation.

6:09 p.m. Police were dispatched to Ellis Lane for an accident report involving a vehicle driven by Gary Steed, 61, Seligman, Mo., who told police he was backing out of a parking lot when he backed into a corner of a trailer parked on the side of the road and shattered the back glass of his vehicle. The trailer is a white, tandem-axle trailer and is owned by the car dealership owned by Jim Erwin.

6:48 p.m. A resident on Henry Little Circle reported a suspicious circumstance involving another residence on Henry Little Circle. Police investigated the residence and found a back door unlocked. There was no one at the residence.

7:57 p.m. A resident of Looney Road reported two 20-inch BMX-style bicycles stolen from a residence on Lindsey Street sometime between 6 p.m. Monday and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Wednesday, Sept. 17

11:28 a.m. Police were dispatched to the area of Slack Street and Maple Glenn subdivision for two dogs running at large. The dogs were caught and taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. The dogs' owner, Troy T. McAlister, 43, Pea Ridge, claimed his dogs later and was issued a citation for two counts of dog at large.

9:30 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop at It'll Do Road and Slack Street, police arrested Gene Jarvis Luke Brotherton, 24, Springdale, for DWI, left of center and no proof of insurance.

Thursday, Sept. 18

4 p.m. A resident of Van Dorn Street reported theft of medication from his home several times over the past month. He told police someone is climbing in through a window and taking the medicine from his pockets while he sleeps.

Friday, Sept. 19

5:45 a.m. Police saw a male standing at the back of a vehicle on Ark. Hwy. 72 near Jac's Ranch. According to the report, the man was not injured, but his vehicle was damaged. State Police were notified of the incident.

8:36 a.m. Police were dispatched to Winters Street for two stray pit bulls. The dogs were taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. On Sept. 20, Pedro Figueroa, 23, Rogers, called looking for his dogs which matched the description of the two that were picked up. He was cited for two counts of dog at large and the dogs were released to him.

Saturday, Sept. 20

2:46 a.m. Police saw a male stumbling in the southbound lane of North Curtis Avenue. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Anthony Carl Bauhaus, 23, Independence, Mo., for public intoxication.

2:55 p.m. A resident of Slack Street reported a small dog was running loose in her yard and she had caught it. Police picked up the male Min Pin and took it to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

5:08 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence of WMB Franklin Court for a harassment report involving threatening text messages sent via cell phone from one brother to another. The men were advised to not continue to contact one another. No one involved wanted to press charges.

7:50 p.m. Two 12-year-old males went to the police station. One of the boys said his father had been yelling, kicking things and scared them. Police interviewed the boys and their parents and determined that there had not been criminal activity.

8:16 p.m. Police were dispatched to the retirement residential facility on Wade Lane for youths trespassing and throwing rocks at a storage building. The children were given a verbal trespass warning with their parents present.

Sunday, Sept. 21

2:41 p.m. Police were dispatched to a business on North Curtis Avenue for an aggressive animal call. They found two dogs that were "very aggressive." Police were unable to contact the owner of the dogs, but contacted a relative who agreed to contain the dogs.

5:18 p.m. Police were dispatched to McDonald's for a complaint of youths who were "high." As a result of the investigation, a 16-year-old male was given a juvenile citation for public intoxication. All youths were released to their guardians.

7:03 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Carr Street for an attempted suicide. The Pea Ridge Ambulance arrived and the medical personnel examined the person, who was then taken to a hospital by private vehicle.
