NW Arkansas Civil War Rountable
SPRINGDALE -- The Northwest Arkansas Civil War Roundtable will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25th at 7:00 pm in the Old Store annex of Shiloh Museum of Ozarks History in Springdale. The museum is located at 118 W. Johnson St.
The program will be presented by Ford Fitch of Bella Vista who will speak on technology of the Civil War era and how it was used and developed.
The program is free and open to anyone with an interest in Civil War history.

Retired Nurses to meet
BENTONVILLE -- The Retired Nurses of Northwest Arkansas will meet at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville at 3000 Medical Center Parkway.
All retired or semi-retired nurses and their guests are welcome to select lunch, which is optional, in the Allspice Cafeteria and carry it across the hall to Classroom B for the meeting.
At noon the speaker, Kathy Krantz, APRN, will speak about "Nursing in the 21st Century." She is a certified family nurse practitioner working full time and currently also seeking a doctor of nursing practice degree.

Hill N Dale to hike
BELLA VISTA -- The Hill N Dale Hiking Club of Bella Vista will be traveling to Indian Creek on Beaver Lake on Friday to hike the trails. Members will meet at Harps upper parking lot in Bella Vista at 8:30 a.m. Nonmembers are invited to join in.
