Along the sidelines Friday night during Pride Night festivities was Kaylin Brouhard, taking photographs for the Blackhawk yearbook. Brouhard, 16, is a junior at Pea Ridge High School.
"I just like taking pictures," Brouhard said. The daughter of Kip and Ceree Somerville of Garfield, Brouhard said she has attended school at Pea Ridge since the fourth grade. She admitted she did not have a lot of experience with a camera, but has been "playing around with this camera" taking pictures of nature, such as of a hummingbird.
"I play softball and like hanging with family and friends. God is a big one, too," she said.
Brouhard works at the Short Stop in Garfield and said her favorite subject in school is math.
