Brightwater United Methodist, Garfield

Brightwater United Methodist Church hosts a senior citizen lunch at 11:30 a.m. every Thursday. Dinners are $3; they are prepared at the Bentonville Senior Center and taken to the church located at 14108 E. U.S. Hwy. 62, between Garfield and Avoca.

Reservations are needed. Call 479-359-3772 no later than Wednesday. All are welcome.

First Baptist Church, Pea Ridge

TeamKID meets from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

The Point Youth meets from 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Fall Family Fun Night is scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, with a science show -- "God Rules Science Show" by Heno Head, Jr.

Mothers Day Out enrollment for fall 2014 is open. Call the church at 451-8192 to register.

Mothers Day Out has an opening for a teaching position.

New Prospect Baptist Church, Garfield

United Methodist Church, Pea Ridge

The Fall Bazaar opens at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at the Pea Ridge United Methodist Church.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The chicken tetrazzini dinner, including sweet potatoes, green beans and homemade pie, is $7. Carry-outs are available. Delivery will be available to group orders.

Call 451-1616 from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 6, or before 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, for delivery.

There will be homemade crafts and baked goods available at the bazaar.

Westside Baptist Church

"Discipleship 101" classes Bible study is at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm. Anyone is invited to participate.

A Chili Cook-Off is set for Nov. 7. Drag out your best recipe and compete for the best chili in Pea Ridge. Call John Garrett at (479) 721-2824 for information.

Bella Vista Christian Church

Bella Vista Christian Church holds two Sunday morning worship services -- one at 9 a.m. and one at 10:45 a.m. "Unleashed: Acts That Change the World" is the message series this fall. KidTown for children birth -- fifth grade is open at both services, with the Radiate students (sixth -- 12th Grade) meeting at 10:45 a.m. The Student Ministry teen Life Groups meet 6-7:30 p.m. Sunday nights at the church. All students sixth -- 12th grades are welcome.

Tuesday morning women's Bible study is held each week at 9:30 a.m. Men's "33" study is offered at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meets the second, third and fourth Friday of each month from 9 -- 11 am. All moms and their pre-kindergarten children invited.

A "Passing of the Baton" Sunday will be held on November 2 as Pastor Ron Carter retires and Pastor Joe Williams from Kansas City will be called to become the church's new pastor. All are invited to special services.

The church will host a Thanksgiving Day Dinner at noon on Thursday, Nov. 27. Anyone is welcome to attend. Please RSVP on the church website at www.bellavistachristian.com.
