• 10/8 Jason Edward Stanley, 40, Bentonville, warrant for theft of property in connection with a theft reported Oct. 2 by a resident of Hickery Street, Pea Ridge, who reported numerous items missing from the garage at her residence

• 10/8 Travis Justin Jones, 34, Rogers, warrant for disorderly conduct and criminal trespass in connection with a complaint filed Sept. 9 b a resident of McNair Street

Monday, Oct. 6

4 p.m. Police were dispatched to a fight in progress in a parking lot behind McDonald's. Police found four teen-aged males who were threatening to fight. They were warned against fighting and trespassing on private property and then released.

Tuesday, Oct. 7

1:09 p.m. Police were requested to assist BCSO at a residence on U.S. Hwy. 62 outside Garfield.

3:24 p.m. Police were dispatched to a suspicious circumstance at a residence on McCulloch Street involving a call to Benton County Central Communications about a female needing a ride and a male cussing in the background. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Patricia Ann Mize, 32, Pea Ridge, for public intoxication. She was booked into the Benton County Jail.

Wednesday, Oct. 8

12:40 p.m. A resident of Garfield reported a laptop computer taken from a vehicle parked at a business in Pea Ridge.

Thursday, Oct. 9

1:42 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on McNair Place for disturbance and found a 21-year-old male with a superficial cut, about 8 inches long, across his throat. The man was transported by ambulance to the hospital to be evaluated. The incident is under investigation.

9:25 a.m. A resident of Weston Loop reported someone used chalk to write and draw profanities on the side of a duplex and on the front door, the air conditioner unit and the satellite dish.

Friday, Oct. 10

12:30 p.m. A resident of Oakley Street reported he had received a phone call from someone claiming to work for the IRS.

1:30 p.m. A resident of Patterson Road reported that when they were traveling westbound on West Pickens Road near Greene Street a rock hit the windshield of the vehicle and broke it.

4:45 p.m. A resident of Patton Street reported she lent her car to someone who did not return it but she didn't want to file charges, just get the car back.

5:03 p.m. Police were dispatched to assist State Police at a motor-vehicle accident on Ark. Hwy. 72 near Dove Road; the road was blocked and there was injury. Pea Ridge Police directed traffic until the trooper arrived.

9:30 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Smith Street for an incident involving a reportedly intoxicated male who refused to leave the residence, despite being asked to leave. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Anthony Curtis Wayne Fine, 21, Pea Ridge, for public intoxication. He was booked into the Benton County Jail and issued a trespass warning for that property.

Saturday, Oct. 11

9:45 a.m. Police were advised of a parking lot accident at Sonic Drive-In, N. Curtis Ave., involving a vehicle driven by Arthur D. Miner, 63, Bentonville.

8:30 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Kings Lane for a burglary not in progress. The resident told police that when he returned from being gone for the day he discovered damage to his home. As a result of the investigation, it was discovered that a juvenile male from the residence had broken the window to access the apartment.

8:58 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on McNair Place for a possible burglary in progress. The caller told the dispatcher she had seen two people with flashlights enter the house. Police found the property owners on site and no burglary in progress.

Sunday, Oct. 12

10:20 a.m. An employee of EZ Mart reported theft of motor-vehicle fuel involving a pickup truck. A male suspect pumped $30 worth of fuel and then left at a high rate of speed. The incident is under investigation.
