Parents invited
A cyberbullying program for students and parents will be presented Thursday, Oct. 2, at Pea Ridge Middle School. Parents are encouraged to attend.
• 8:15 - 9:10 a.m., Sixth grade
• 9:15 - 10:05 a.m., Seventh grade
• 10:15 - 11:05 a.m., Eighth grade
Band performance and pep rally
Pre-game festivities and a pep rally are slated for Friday, Oct. 3, prior to the game against Lincoln.
More than 200 band students in sixth through 12th grade will perform at pre-game and at a special tailgate event hosted by the Pea Ridge Band Boosters. Tailgating will be in the outdoor classroom area behind the middle school from 4-6 p.m. The 200-piece "Mass Band" along with the Pea Ridge High School cheerleaders will perform at 5:30 p.m.
The public is invited to come out to eat and support the band program at the fundraiser. Parents are urged to enter the stadium before 6:30 p.m. in order to see the band students march into the stadium. Pregame festivities will begin at 6:35 p.m. with the "Mass Band" leading a pep rally on the field.
