Monday, Nov. 3

5:15 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on East Watie Street for a welfare check. The person in question was fine.

6 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Zachary Street for a suspicious circumstance involving someone letting his dogs out of his yard.

Tuesday, Nov. 4

6:26 a.m. As a result of an anonymous tip and resulting investigation, police arrested Zachary Meroney, 19, Pineville, Mo., for public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance/marijuana, and possession of an instrument of crime, and Ryan Andrew Meroney, 20, Pineville, Mo., for driving left of center, driving on a suspended driver's license (from Arkansas), DWI and possession of a controlled substance. Both men were booked into the Benton County Jail.

6:55 a.m. Police were dispatched to an abandoned vehicle at the Pea Ridge Post Office. Because it was on private property, police told the reporting party they could not have the vehicle towed, although post office personnel could. Attempts to contact the registered owner were unsuccessful.

10:09 a.m. Police were dispatched to the Pea Ridge High School parking lot for a "medical issue" involving an elderly female. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Beverly Marron, 74, Bella Vista, for disorderly conduct.

10:15 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Kyle Scott Mitchell, 20, Pea Ridge, on a felony warrant for Benton County Sheriff's Office, and booked him into the Benton County Jail.

Wednesday, Nov. 5

11:30 a.m. An employee from Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic called police saying a resident of St. Clair Street had brought in a dog he said was wandering around his residence.

3 p.m. Police received a report of a private property accident on Washburn Drive involving someone running over large rock ornaments in a yard and a very large rock in the roadway. Police called employees with the Street Department to clear the roadway.

Thursday, Nov. 6

3:13 p.m. A resident of Carr Street reported finding a plastic bag containing a white powdery substance in her mailbox. The incident is under investigation.

8:19 p.m. Police were dispatched to the laundromat on North Curtis Avenue for a report of vandalism to a vending machine. The woman told police she found the drink machine outside tipped over on its side and all of the laundry carts inside the building "flipped over."

Friday, Nov. 7

4:45 a.m. A resident of Oakley Street reported a missing person involving a 29-year-old female. Police learned the woman did call in sick to work and determined that the report was unfounded.

10:30 a.m. A resident of Eagle Crest reported a theft involving a purse missing from her unlocked vehicle. Upon investigating, police found the missing purse in a nearby back yard. Police were also investigating another case of stolen property from a residence on Greer Street, nearby.

10:47 a.m. A resident of Greer Street reported a theft involving items, including a purse and a "work bag," stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

10:57 a.m. Police were dispatched to Walmart Neighborhood Market for a disturbance involving a male who was threatening to another male. The incident is under investigation.

3:15 p.m. A resident of East Pickens Road reported a neighbor's dog killed three chickens.

4:48 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Greenwood Cove for a civil call which became a verbal disturbance.

Saturday, Nov. 8

2:08 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Weston Street for a suspicious circumstance involving a loud vehicle and hearing a sound like a gunshot.

9:18 p.m. Police were dispatched to a disturbance on McCulloch Street near the intersection of Lane Drive.

5 a.m. Police found a cell phone in DyeHards Gym. The owner was found and the phone turned over.

Sunday, Nov. 9

7:37 a.m. Police were notified of suspicious circumstances near a residence on Peck Road involving someone reportedly hunting in the area. Police spoke with a 16-year-old male from Garfield who said he had permission from the real estate agent to hunt in the area. He admitted to killing two deer. The matter was turned over to Cpl. Matt Guthrie of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

Monday, Nov. 10

2:11 a.m. Police were dispatched to the parking lot at school for a suicidal subject, an 18-year-old male, who reportedly took 30 Ibuprofens in an attempt to end his life. He was dispatched by ambulance to Northwest Medical Center.
