Mann arrested for theft

Christopher Mann, 37, Pea Ridge, was arrested for theft and theft by receiving after an investigation by police led to the discovery and recovery of several stolen items.

On the evening of Oct. 27, police were dispatched to a residence on Turner Way for a report of stolen Halloween decorations. According to the police report, a resident confronted two men about stealing the decorations and one man was "really nervous" and broke the window out of his own vehicle to get the items and return them to the resident.

On Nov. 3, as a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Mann for whom they had a warrant for theft by receiving and felon in possession of a firearm. During a search of Mann's residence, police recovered a tool bag with several cordless power tools reportedly stolen from Lowe's.
