Tuesday, May 20

5:44 p.m. The owner of a building under renovation on Lee Town Road reported several items stolen from the construction site include a water pump and a compressor.

9:05 p.m. A resident of Blair Circle reported a dog barking from a neighbor's house; when contacted, the dog's owner apologized.

Wednesday, May 21

12:28 a.m. A resident of Kay Lynn Drive reported pickup lights were on in their pickup truck and they saw a female walking away from the area. Nothing was found missing; the truck door was found open.

3:54 a.m. Alarm Pea Ridge High School; building secure.

6:07 p.m. A resident of Hutchinson Street reported their mailbox had been hit; the suspect was found and agreed to pay for repairs.

Thursday, May 22

6:56 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Wade Lane for a report of an 82-year-old female who had knocked on the door saying she was being held against her will. It was determined she was a resident of the retirement home and a family member was contacted.

9:48 a.m. A 15-year-old girl was reported missing. She was dropped off at school, but did not attend school. She was found later and taken to Youth Bridge.

9:32 p.m. As a result of a report of a reckless driver, police stopped the suspect vehicle that was crossing the center line repeatedly. The 83-year-old male driver was confused and turned over to family members.

Friday, May 23

12:56 p.m. Police assisted at an unattended death at a residence on Ryan Road.

2 p.m. A resident of Richards Street reported being harassed by her estranged husband. The information was turned over to the Benton County Prosecutor's Office.

2:42 p.m. A resident of Van Dorn reported that when he broke up with his boyfriend, the man took some of his possessions. It was determined to be a civil issue.

3:42 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of Ark. Hwy. 72 and Dove Road for a reckless driver. Police found the suspect who told police she had tried to answer her cell phone and then dropped it. She was advised to be more careful.

5 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on East Pickens for an animal call. The resident was holding a brown Pit bull mix dog that had a collar and no tags and a portion of a chain. The dog wa taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

7:51 p.m. A juvenile male told police that an adult white male was asking questions of him and his friends who were trying to play baseball at the ball field on Weston Street. The man said he was trying to help coach the boys.

11:08 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested a passenger, Jason McEvans, 27, Pea Ridge, for interference with police and on warrants for contempt of court for Pea Ridge, bad check for Benton County and contempt of court for Rogers. He was cited for resisting arrest. McEvans kicked the arresting police officer in addition to resisting getting in the police car. The driver was given a written warning for speeding.

Saturday, May 24

10 a.m. Police were dispatched to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic for a woman who wanted to pick up a "pound dog." Kathrin Breeden 40, Pea Ridge, was cited for dog at large and no city tags.

11:35 a.m. Victoria Jackson, 40, Pea Ridge, was cited for dog at large when she arrived at the Police Station to retrieve her dog which was impounded at Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

5:25 p.m. Police were dispatched to EZ Mart for a gas drive off. The driver of a white Cadillac pumped $23.31 worth of gasoline into the vehicle but did not pay for it. The driver was located and it was determined that the issue was unintentional due to the pump not working correctly. The driver agreed to return to the store to pay for the gas.

5:13 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of West Pickens Road and Hayden Road for two running in the road. The caller advised she had caught one of the dogs. A white Schnauzer was picked up and taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. The other dog was not located.

Sunday, May 25

7 p.m. A resident of Todd Circle reported a large Weimarener had shown up in his yard. It had no collar. It was taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
