Gym classes offered

Opening a larger facility in a new location has allowed John and B.J. Dye to offer more at Dye Hards Gym, 1978 Slack Street. Multiple classes are now being offered and there is a trainer available.

They are:

• Senior yoga -- 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Monday and Wednesday

• Yoga -- 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays

• Zumba -- 4:30-5:15 p.m. and 5:30-6:15 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday

• Body sculpt -- 5:45 a.m.-6:30 a.m. Tuesday and Friday

• Training 101 -- 9:30 on Saturdays

Punch cards

• Member cards $4 a class =$48

• Nonmember cards $6 a class =$62

There are 12 punches per card which are good for all classes. Cards expire one year from date of purchase.

Dye said members can have unlimited class for $45 a month auto draft with no punch card necessary.

Trainer, Carrie Hatfield, will do a four-week bootcamp beginning May 12. Bootcamp will meet at 6:30 a.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday.

For more information, call the gym at 451-1551. Dye said non-members can have unlimited classes for $ 65 a month auto draft with no punch card necessary. That renews yearly. She said there is no penalty for discontinuing auto draft for classes.

The gym is open 24 hours a day and accessed by keys given to members. It is staffed from 1:30 to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
