Optimist Club Flag Project set
For $30 a year, The Pea Ridge Optimist Club will place an American flag on Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Patriot's Day, Columbus Day and Veteran's Day.
The money will support community service projects for youth in our community such as a college scholarship, essay contests, oratorical contests and various Optimists projects/programs.

Handweavers Guild meeting set
The May meeting for the Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild Weavers Guild will be at 10 a.m. May 10,at the Arts Center of the Ozarks in Springdale.
The program is focusing on Mary Meigs Atwater.
