Lady Blackhawk Jerika Schooley, No. 15, pitches. Schooley is a senior. The softball record improved to 4-3 with the win over Harrison 1-0 Monday night, coach Josh Reynolds said. The Lady ’Hawks’ only run came from Sara Whatley’s solo homerun in the fourth. Jerika Schooley pitched a four-hit shutout striking out eight players. “It is always good to win a close ball game, especially on the road. It was the first game our kids competed like we know they can. It was a good team win,” Reynolds said.
