Golf registrations

The First Tee of Northwest Arkansas is now accepting 2014 annual registrations for youth ages 7 to 18. The $30 registration fee provides access to registration for the seven monthly sessions of programming and 16 weeks of summer golf camp, discounted participant fees at the Tyson First Tee Learning Center and ability to participate in the "Get Them Playing" program (discounted greens fees at local golf courses).

The first session of programming will be in April.

Golf League open

The First Tee of Northwest Arkansas will be offering the Powerade Golf League spring season in April and May. The program is open to First Tee participants currently in seventh grade through high school.

The program will meet twice a week with a practice session at the Tyson First Tee Learning Center and a match that will alternate between The Greens at Blossom Way and the Links at Springdale each week of the season.

Coaches needed

The First Tee of Northwest Arkansas is searching for both paid and volunteer coaches with a special need for female and Spanish-speaking individuals.

An informational meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Tyson First Tee Learning Center at 715 E. Monroe Ave. in Lowell.
