New Meadowbrook EH Club
New Meadowbrook Extension Homemaker's Club met for the regular monthly meeting on March 12 at the First Baptist Church in Garfield. It was a touching day as one of the long time members, Jean Landauer passed away the previous week, so a candle was lit in her memory and the devotion of 1 Peter 5:6 - 11 was read by president Karen Launderville.
She also read Irish Blessings, stating the meaning of the Shamrock and of the Wild Irish Rose for upcoming St. Patrick's Day.
Roll Call was answered with members stating something that needed repair in their home.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and the treasurer's report given. Members will have a workday on March 26 to complete the quilt being made at this time.
Upcoming events were discussed and a list of quips and tips for homemaker's was read. The meeting was adjourned with all reciting the Extension Homemaker's Creed.
