Sisco is host of "These Ozarks Hills," a monthly series which airs on Missouri State University's KSMU public radio station, as well as the lead singer in Blackberry Winter Band, the musical group featured in the Oscar-nominated film Winter's Bone.

Toy exhibit

A Boy's Toys, an exhibit of toys from the 1930s and 1940s, opens Monday, March 24, at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. The toys are part of the museum's Orville Hall Jr. Collection.

According to Shiloh Museum collections manager Carolyn Reno, "Orville Hall Jr. was born in Fayetteville in 1935, the only child of Dr. Orville and Janie Haigh Hall. Orville Jr. had a loving family and was recipient of many nice store-bought and handmade toys from his parents and other family members. His maternal grandfather was skilled at woodwork and made several toys for young Orville. His aunts and uncles sent him toys and books.

His mother made notes on many of these gifts recording the year and holiday on which they were received, making the collection a well-documented look at toys from the 1930s and 1940s."
