Layered salad
Recipe by Sue Taylor, in the 2008 Cook's Library of Treasures published by the Pea Ridge Community Library
1 head lettuce, shredded
1 green pepper, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. green onion, chopped
1 pkg. frozen peas
8 oz. sour cream
1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sugar
10 oz. shredded cheese
In large bowl, layer lettuce, green pepper, celery, green onion and peas. Mix together sour cream, mayonnaise and sugar; pour over salad. Sprinkle cheese over top and chill for six hours.
