Thursday, July 24

12:16 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Ellis Lane for a property damage accident. After hearing a thud, the resident said he saw a dent in a window frame. From the investigation, it was believed that a piece of wood was thrown against the building by a brush hog.

12:44 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Clark Street for a report of a possible theft of prescription drug pills.

3:50 p.m. Police were dispatched to Pea Ridge Primary School for an alarm call. The building was secure.

4:58 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on East Pickens Road for a 911 hangup call. A young woman was trying to assist her ill grandfather.

8:09 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on John W. Montgomery Circle for a report of a runaway involving a 16-year-old girl. The girl was found and returned to her parents.

Friday, July 25

3:30 a.m. A resident of Smith Street reported a suspicious circumstance involving someone ringing her doorbell and running off. She also reported this happened the previous night and that last week she found eggs in her driveway and on her vehicle.

4 p.m. A resident of Choate Place Circle went to the police station to ask if the people who broke into her truck had been caught. Police did not have a report on the incident. She said that on June 27, someone had entered her unlocked vehicle and took the faceplate off her CD player, a knife and a bottle of pain pills. A report of break-ins in that area was found, but she was not listed as a victim. Police made a report on the incident.

6:38 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on John Montgomery Circle for a disturbance involving a woman hitting a 16-year-old girl. As a result of the investigation, the parties were separated.

Saturday, July 26

1:43 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on O.D. Bancroft for a suicidal person complaint. The residence was vacant.

7:13 p.m. A resident of Seligman, Mo., reported that several shopping carts were lying on the front left corner of his vehicle which was parked at the Neighborhood Market. He said there were scratches on his vehicle.

7:33 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on McNair Street for a welfare concern. An anonymous caller reported a Level 2 sex offender was living at the house. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that the man had registered at that address.

9:09 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Washburn Drive for an animal complaint. The resident said two dogs had been running loose and she had captured them. Police took both dogs to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. They were a black and white female mixed breed and a black and tan female, both wearing collars. Neither had city tags on the collars.

Sunday, July 27

2:30 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge reported she was visiting a house in Pea Ridge when her "phone came up missing." She said she saw two men with the phone. The incident is under investigation.

Monday, July 28

1:45 p.m. A resident of Van Dorn Street reported he thinks he lost a bottle of Roxicodone, possibly at Sonic.

7:01 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Danny G. Hall, 61, Pea Ridge, for DWI. He was transported to the Benton County Jail and his vehicle was impounded.

Tuesday, July 29

12:30 a.m. A resident of Van Dorn Street reported she was missing about 138 Oxycodone pills which were in a bottle in her living room. She reported there were visitors at her house and when they left, the bottle was missing.
