Tuesday, July 8

5:16 p.m. Police took a report of a two-vehicle accident that happened at the four-way stop on South Curtis Avenue and Slack Street involving vehicles driven by Madison Mae Hardy, 17, Garfield, and Cory Lee Ball, 17, Washburn, Mo.

Wednesday, July 9

7:29 a.m. Police were dispatched to the Pea Ridge Intermediate School for an alarm call. There was no sign of forced entry.

2:54 p.m. Police took a report of a private property accident at a business on North Curtis Avenue involving Charlotte Potter, 70, Bentonville, and Desiree Lynn Baker, 25, Bella Vista.

Thursday, July 10

7:50 a.m. Police were dispatched to a business on Lee Town Road for a dog locked inside a car. The location was in the county, but police responded for the welfare of the animal. Police were able to unlock the vehicle and get the dog out.

1:32 p.m. A resident of Mary Phelps Drive reported that she was injured when a relative threw an axe handle and hit her arm. Police informed her that it was not a criminal matter.

Friday, July 11

5:31 p.m. A caller reported a road hazard on Nelson Court stating that the road was blocked and no one could drive down the street. Police investigated and found there was room for cars to drive between the vehicles parked on the side of the road.

5:44 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge reported her 13-year-old daughter had received "a nasty message" from a 13-year-old boy from Pea Ridge on her Instagram page. Police accompanied the woman to talk with the parents of the suspect.

5:50 p.m. A resident of Wade Lane reported receiving harassing communications via phone from a male.

6:40 p.m. Police were asked to call Rogers Police who reported they were with two men who wanted to know why their mother, for whom they have power of attorney, had checked out of Autumn Place in Pea Ridge. As a result of the investigation, police discovered the woman's daughter had taken her to the hospital without checking her out of the facility.

9:30 p.m. Police were given a wallet found on the fairgrounds. The attempt to contact the owner was unsuccessful.

Saturday, July 12

1 p.m. Police were approached by a couple from Missouri who said their 17-year-old girl moved into a house on Arkansas Highway 72 with other youths. She said there is no running water in the house and that police in Missouri said they could not file a runaway report as the child is 17 years of age.

4:54 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Jenks Court for an animal welfare concern. Upon investigating, police found a dog that appeared to be well cared for with food and water.

11:52 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on North Woods Lane to assist Little Flock Police on a physical disturbance. Rogers Police were assisting with a K-9 officer and located a subject in the bushes between two buildings. Truman Andrews, 22, was arrested and taken to Benton County Jail by Little Flock Police. Pea Ridge Police had a warrant on the subject as well.

8:24 p.m. A resident of Eagle Crest reported that when she went outside a large, aggressive dog charged at her. She said it has been an ongoing occurrence. When police arrived on the scene, the dog ran towards the police officer when he began to exit his patrol car. Attempts to locate the owner of the dog, Emerald Coleman, 23, Pea Ridge, were unsuccessful. The dog was eventually caught and taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. There were other Pit bulls seen inside the house. The dog did not have city or rabies tags on his collar.

Sunday, July 13

1:25 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge reported he lost his wallet somewhere in town between McCulloch and North Davis streets.

9:46 a.m. A resident of Zachary Street reported someone apparently attempted to break out the front windshield of her daughter's car.

4:30 p.m. A resident of Bowen Street reported suspicious circumstances involving someone purportedly in New York attempting to buy items she had for sale on Craigslist.

6:31 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on McCulloch Street for a physical disturbance. The suspect had left the scene and gone to a residence on Van Dorn, then to another residence in the area, then got a ride to a trailer on McRae Lane. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Kevina Hamilton, 34, Pea Ridge, for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and third-degree domestic assault.

Monday, July 14

10:39 a.m. As the result of a traffic stop, police arrested Teresa Cowan, 35, Pea Ridge, for a contempt of court warrant from Rogers and Johnny Cowan, 43, Pea Ridge, for a Rogers warrant for contempt of court. The driver, Jessica Ingram, 21, Pea Ridge, was cited for driving with no driver's license. They were transported to Rogers.

1:49 p.m. While trying to serve a warrant at a residence on North Davis Street, it was discovered that there was an issue with a sewer line in which raw sewage was escaping onto the ground. The property owner, Kenneth Blount, was contacted. The issue was turned over to the city building official, Tony Townsend.
