Wednesday, Jan. 22

5:06 p.m. Police were dispatched to a business on Slack Street for an alarm; the representative was contacted and reset the alarm.

5:20 p.m. Police were dispatched to the north entrance of E-Z Mart on Slack Street for a vehicle in the ditch. The driver, Caitlin Gayer, 22, Rogers, said she was west bound and attempted to make a left-hand turn into the E-Z Mart parking lot, but missed the drive and turned into the ditch. Police directed traffic while the vehicle was pulled from the ditch.

11:15 p.m. A resident of South Curtis Avenue reported his unlocked pickup truck was broken into and an iPod was stolen.

Thursday, Jan. 23

3:16 a.m. Police were dispatched to an apartment on Woods Lane for an agency assist to Little Flock Police for a male, needing medical attention, who had reportedly been in a fight.

10 a.m. An employee of the Water Department reported theft of services involving water. The employee stated the water meter had been read and locked on Oct. 28 at a residence on McCulloch Street because of non-payment. On Jan. 23, it was discovered the lock on the meter had been broken off and the meter indicated water usage. The water line had broken and flooded the yard.

Saturday, Jan. 25

1:30 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Brandon Michael Henry, 32, Rogers, for driving on a suspended driver's license and no proof of insurance.

1:19 p.m. Police were notified of a welfare concern about a 92-year-old male resident of the city who appears to be a danger to himself. Police notified Adult Protective Services.

7:58 p.m. After following a vehicle that was crossing the center line repeatedly, police initiated a traffic stop. The driver, Michael David Forest, 54, Pea Ridge, was arrested for DWI, endangering the welfare of a minor, careless and prohibitive driving, driving on a suspended driver's license (suspended for DWI) and no proof of insurance. He had a minor child in the vehicle who was transported to her home.

Sunday, Jan. 26

9:06 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on John W. Montgomery Circle for a physical disturbance involving two girls arguing and one slapping and biting her father. The girl, 16, was arrested for third-degree domestic battery and was transported to Benton County Juvenile Detention Center.

11:10 p.m. A Pea Ridge resident contacted police about a dog that she picked up that appeared to have been hit by a car. The dog was found on the north side of West Pickens Road; it was taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

Monday, Jan. 27

3:05 p.m. Police assisted Benton County Sheriff's deputies with a one-vehicle accident on East Harris Street; as a result of the accident, Jordan Vierra, 22, Pea Ridge, was arrested for DWI and careless driving.

5:51 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Mary Phelps Drive for an animal complaint of a white pit-bull mix dog running loose in the neighborhood. Police were unable to locate the dog.

9:34 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of the construction site of the Neighborhood Market on Carr and Slack streets for a report of men "messing with the gate" to the entrance.
