The Family Leadership Project "Partners in Policymaking" is coming to the northwest Arkansas area. The Arkansas Governor's Developmental Disabilities Council is accepting participants in the 2014 class. Parents and guardians of children with developmental disabilities or individuals with developmental disabilities are invited to attend.
The training is designed to provide education and information about programs and services. The classes are scheduled for April 25-26, May 16-17 and June 6-7 in Springdale at the Jones Center.
Participants may be reimbursed for the cost to attend according to state policy. Lodging may be provided on a case- by- case basis. Space is limited; apply soon.
