The annual fourth-grade Valentine Box contest at Pea Ridge Intermediate School was held last week. The boxes were displayed in the library with the girls' boxes on one side of the room and the boys' boxes on the other side of the room.
This year as each third- and fifth-grade group came to view the boxes, each student was given two votes -- one vote for the girls and one vote for the boys. The votes were tallied; there were two grand prize winners.
Riley Robbins won the best girls' box. Logan Stewart won the best boys' box. Both students are from Mrs. Scholtes' homeroom. Each student received a Sonic card.
