New Meadowbrook

EH Club

Members of New Meadowbrook Extension Homemaker's Club met at Rheta Van Doren's home at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, for their regular monthly meeting.

The meeting was brought to order by president Karen Launderville with all reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Devotions were given by Rheta from Hebrews 2:9-18. Minutes and the treasure reports were given, and then discussion of upcoming events. Members will have a work day on Feb. 26.

The Spring Council with all of the clubs of Benton County will be on Friday, May 2. A Cultural Arts Workshop of Button Art will be on Thursday, Feb. 20, and on Friday, April 11, the Curtain Calls, which will be Arm Chair Travel of members sharing their travel experiences.

These two meetings will be at the Home Extension Office.

Plans are to be made for the Benton County Fair which will be from Tuesday, Aug. 12, to Saturday, Aug. 16. Members then went over ideas for finishing the quilt being made by the club.

The meeting was closed with all reciting the Extension Homemaker's Creed.
