Seeking administrator for business school

Moving forward with plans for the Pea Ridge Manufacturing and Business Academy, school administrators and business leaders interviewed candidates for the administrator for the charter school.

School superintendent Rick Neal said he, Keith Martin, Sarah Stokes, Jon Laffoon, Matt Wood, Bonnie Fullmer, Tim Summers, Dianna Johnson, Greg Sheppard and Terry Law are the advisory panel conducting the interviews.

The first four applicants interviewed were Mark Laster, Charlie Clark, Rachel Patton and Julia Rice. During the next round of interviews, Neal said they will speak to Jacquelyn Brownell, Lisa Hotzenpiller and Izetta Osmend.

Sixteen applied and seven were selected for interviews, Neal said. "We're making very, very good progress."

"Everybody will be here for the final interview," Neal said.
