Reading is fun

Scout, a therapy dog, visited Pea Ridge fourth-grade students last week during reading class.

Wendy Teach and Scout visited Mrs. Donna Boyd's homeroom and students had an opportunity to read to Scout.

This reading program is way way for children to practice their reading skills in a non-judgement environment. The therapy dog service is one on the student's research topics for their project-based learning) unit.

Teach is involved with the children's reading program with Rogers Library. Scout also visits with people in the hospital and making a difference.
