Blackhawk Pride Night begins at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, in Blackhawk Stadium. Admission is $2 each. Pride Night is a fundraiser for the cheerleaders.
Athletes for fall sports, band, and Pee-Wee football and cheer will be introduced. There will be performances by: PRHS Band, Pee-Wee sixth-grade cheerleaders, Jr. High cheerleaders and varsity cheerleaders.
Both Jr. High and Varsity football will have short scrimmages.
The Blackhawk Foundation will be set up to sell merchandise.
Cheerleaders are selling raffle tickets ($1/each or $10 for 15 tickets) for: $50 gift card to Copeland's, gift card to Logan's Roadhouse, Power Wheels truck, two grills, an outdoor patio set, a mini freezer/fridge, a microwave/toaster combo and Shark sweeper/mop.
Blackhawk cheerleaders will sell hot dogs and hamburgers.
