• Nanette M. Barnes filed for alderman, position 1
• Dennis Pinkley filed for alderman, position 2
• Kathleen L. Hansen filed for alderman, position 3
Garfield
• Gary R. Eckel filed for mayor
• Katherine C. Shook filed for alderman, Ward 2, position 1
• Leonard G. Matthew filed for alderman, Ward 2, position 2
• Ellen M. King, Ward 2, Position 2
Gateway
• Frank T. Hackler Jr. filed for mayor
• Sherry Robinette filed for recorder/treasurer
• Carol Pendergraft Frost filed for alderman, position 2
• Dianna Nichols filed for alderman, position 4
• Cheryl Ann Tillman for alderman, position 5
Pea Ridge
• Jackie Crabtree filed for mayor
In Pea Ridge, Mayor Jackie Crabtree has filed for re-election. Council member Nadine Telgemeier said she is not seeking reelection; no one has filed for her seat. Council member Bob Cottingham said he does plan to seek re-election.
Gateway Mayor Frank Hackler has filed for re-election and, as of Tuesday, was unopposed.
Garfield Mayor Laura Hamilton had not filed as of Tuesday, but said she does intend to seek re-election. Gary R. Eckel filed for the mayor's seat.
The deadline to file is noon Friday, Aug. 15.
