Roe worked on Humanities Council

Wanda Roe of Pea Ridge attended the summer meeting of the Arkansas Humanities Council in Little Rock July 11-12. Members of the Council saw videos and heard reports of projects they had funded such as the Teachers Institute attended by teachers from 45 schools. The members later visited the Museum of Discovery and saw a demonstration used in the Institute.

Council members approved grants to 36 small museums and numerous grants to schools and communities.

Officers were elected and the budget for 2015 was approved. Staff was re-hired and plans were made for future projects.
