The Pea Ridge Fire Department will host a C.E.R.T (Community Emergency Response Team) class starting in September. There is room for up to 25 people.
Persons interested should call Fire Chief Jamie Baggett at (479) 451-1111 to reserve a spot. There is no cost for this class. The class will be approximately nine weeks long with individual classes of three hours a night once a week. There will be a hands-on test on the ninth week.
"I encourage anyone who wants to help out during a disaster to take this class," Baggett said.
