2:30 p.m. A 51-year-old white female resident of the city came to the police station to complain that “Chinese dragons” were attacking her and that someone had put an intercom in her home and someone was poisoning her. Police reported the same woman was atWhite Oak Station at 4 a.m. the same day making similar statements and was taken toNorthwest Medical Center, Bentonville, by ambulance. After conferring with the county prosecutor, police arrested Jacqueline Brenner and transported her to Benton County Jail.

6:29 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Washburn Drive for a suicidal subject.The residents reported a 13-year-old male living at the residence threatened to harm himself with a knife.

Wednesdsay, Oct. 16

9:35 a.m. A resident of O.D. Bancroft reported two large aggressive dogs running loose in the area. When police arrived, they found an elderly male cornered in his garage by the dogs who were barking and growling at him.

Using pepper spray, police were able to make the dogs leave the garage. They returned to a neighboring yard; police were unable to contact the owner.

Neither dog was wearing a collar or tags. Later, on Oct. 17, police found the dogs’ owner, Ashley Northern, 26, of Pea Ridge, and cited her for two counts of dog at large.

4:15 p.m. An employee of CastleRental and Pawn reported a white iPad stolen.

3:25 p.m. A resident of Hall Drive reported a theft from her garage.

4:15 p.m. A resident on John W.

Montgomery Circle reported a reckless driver who has almost hit her son.

Police were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

9:48 p.m. A caller reported a reckless driver on Sugar Creek Road by the golf course. People were unable to locate the vehicles.

5:40 p.m. Police attempted to make a traÿc stop on a white Jeep truck on Weston Street at Hazelton Road.

The driver fled from police speeding down McCulloch and Van Dorn streets, turning onto Hoffman Street where children were playing in a nearby yard.

The driver stopped on Hoffman Street when a resident pulled out into the road forcing him to stop. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Trenton Devon Dunn, 18, Pea Ridge, for felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of a controlledsubstance, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, fleeing and careless and prohibited driving.

Friday, Oct. 18

11:45 a.m. A resident of South Davis Street reported criminal mischief involving damage to his mailbox. A witness reported seeing a vehicle strike the mailbox; the suspect was found and said he would be willing to compensate the property owner for the mailbox.

1 p.m. Police were dispatched to Park Circle for several dogs running at large.

There were four dogs, one had a city tag.

The owner was found and the dogs contained. She stated she was watching her brother’s dog and it kept letting hers out.

5:56 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported on Arkansas Highway 94 (West Pickens Road) west of Farrell Street involving vehicles driven by Ashley S.

Waterman, 26, Bella Vista, and Mitchell C. Maddox, 44, Bella Vista, involving Waterman rear-ending Maddox when he stopped suddenly for the vehicle in front of him.

7:30 p.m. Police picked up a male boxer-type dog on John W. Montgomery Circle. It did not have a collar or tags and was taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

Sunday, Oct. 20

3:58 p.m. In response to a report of a stolen truck from an apartment on East Pickens Road, police found and arrested Tracy Milne-Jones, 35, Rogers, on warrants from Benton County. Milne-Jones resisted arrest leading to additional charges. She was transported to Benton County Jail. The owner of the truck said he did not want to file charges as the truck was returned.

Monday, Oct. 21

9:15 a.m. A 38-year-old woman reported a man known to be a registered sex offender was following her and her 4-year-old daughter through the grocery store.

9:24 p.m. Pea Ridge Police assisted BCSO with a threatened suicide at a residence on Miser Road. Police secured the scene until deputies arrived, then turned the scene over to deputies.
