Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day
On Oct. 5, Hobbs State Park Conservation Area along with the Ozark O
Road Cyclists and Friends of Slaughter Pen Trails, will host young riders, ages 6-16, for a youth mountain biking event. The ride is part of a nationwide celebration known as Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day.
Join Park Interpreter Rebekah Penny, Ozark O
Road Cyclist’s, and Friends of Slaughter Pen Trails for this family-friendly, at 10 a.m. for the four-mile bike ride along the Bashore Ridge Loop of the 24-mile multi-use trail system at Hobbs State Park. All riders must wear a helmet.
The ride will be followed by a free hot dog cookout sponsored by the OORC.
