◊11/9 Katie Garcia, 33, Pea Ridge, failure to appear Sunday, Nov. 3

12:24 a.m. While on patrol in Creekside subdivision off Hayden Road, police located a parked white pickup truck in which a couple - a 20-year-old male and 16-year-old female - were unclothed. It was reported the girl told the male she was 17. Upon the advice of the prosecutor, no charges were filed and the girl was transported back to her residence and cited for a curfew violation.

Tuesday, Nov. 5

3:05 p.m. As a result of a traÿ c accident, police arrested Darrel W. Lushenko, 56, Pea Ridge, for driving on a suspended driver’s license. He was also cited for speeding.

Friday, Nov. 8

3:49 p.m. Police assisted Pea Ridge Fire Department with a vehicle fire on John W. Montgomery Circle.

5:15 p.m. A resident of Rogers reported he was in Marvin’s IGA and his son was in the truck. He said his son came running inside the store reporting that a man had attempted to get in the truck. It was determined that it was a male from town who is a registered sex offender. The man, when contacted, said he accidentally tried to get in the wrong vehicle.

Saturday, Nov. 9

1:24 a.m. Police assisted Little Flock police with an agency assist for an incident involving a suspect with extensive oÿ cer safety issues.

8:30 a.m. Police were dispatched to the area of Lynn Drive in regards to two dogs running loose in the neighborhood. A resident of Lynn Drive caught the dogs, two of which she said she was taking care of for a friend from Bentonville. One of the dogs belonged to her.

As a result of the investigation, Carrie L. Scrogham, 36, Pea Ridge, was cited for three counts of dog at large and one count of no city tags.

10:45 a.m. A resident of Weston Street reported finding a dog on her front porch. The dog was taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

11:10 a.m. A county resident turned in a dog who she said she found running loose in the Standing Oaks Subdivision. The dog is a grey pit-type female dog. It had no tags and appeared malnourished.

4:31 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Woods Street for numerous 911 calls from a child claiming his house was on fire. As a result of the investigation, police found a young boy who said he was just playing. Police advised the child about the seriousness of using 911 and the adult in the residence was advised to teach the children the proper use of 911.

10:19 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Wade Lane for a welfare check.

Sunday, Nov. 10

4:28 p.m. Police were dispatched to residence on West Watie Street for a disturbance; the reporting party said adults were yelling cuss words at each other in front of children. As a result of the investigation, police determined that the offending parties were juveniles - ages 15 and 16. They were advised to not curse in front of small children.

Monday, Nov. 11

12:26 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on North Curtis Avenue for a suspicious person involving an unresponsive male inside a parked vehicle.

The man declined medical treatment from Pea Ridge emergency medical personnel. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Cody Lupica, 18, Rogers, for public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance and minor in possession.

4:27 a.m. A resident of Richards Street reported her neighbor’s dog was barking.

3:52 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hazelton Road for an animal complaint.The reporting party said two dogs had shown up in his yard and appeared to be aggressive. Police were able to catch one dog, which was taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
