Jason Daniel Patillo, 39, of Fort Smith, was arrested Friday for felony rape of a 9-year-old girl.
On Sunday, Nov. 4, a resident of Pea Ridge notified Pea Ridge police that she had learned ofpossible sexual assault involving her 9-year-old daughter. Police notifi ed the Crimes Against Childreninvestigator. The child was interviewed at the Children’s Advocacy Center, according to the police report.
Results of the investigation were given to the Benton County Prosecutor who issued a warrant on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
The child wrote a note telling her mother the man had “put his bad spot on her butt,” according to the probable cause a◊davit.
During the interview with CAC, the child disclosed that the man had sexual contact with her numerous times over the previous two to three years, according to the probable cause. The child also displayed the actions using anatomical dolls.
On Friday, Patillo turned himself in to the Benton County Sheri◊’s O◊ce.
He was released Friday on $50,000 bond.
