Tuesday, Oct. 29

10:49 a.m. Police responded to a residence on Mary Phelps Drive for an alarm; there was no sign of forced entry and the owners were not able to be contacted.

4 p.m. Police were dispatched to Autumn Place for a delayed disturbance report between two residents. The incident was referred to the prosecuting attorney.

8:06 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hickman Drive for a disturbance.Two men reported an argument and that one “punched” the other but neither wanted to press charges.

Wednesday, Oct. 30

12:15 p.m. Police received a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the area of 105 W. Pickens Rd. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Raymond William Maresh, 61, Garfield, for DWI and refusal to submit to test.

5:15 p.m. Police received a report from a resident of Washburn Drive who said her neighbor yells profanities and uses vulgar gestures to her and her husband, even in front of her children.

5:33 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Asboth Street for a disturbance involving an intoxicated male at the residence. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Eric Christian Elrod, 31, Pea Ridge, on warrants from Pea Ridge for contempt and from Benton County for contempt and driving on a suspended driver’s license.

11:02 p.m. As a result of a traÿ c stop, police arrested Jason Childress, 31, Bella Vista, for DWI, refusal to submit to a chemical test, speeding and driving on a suspended driver’s license.

Thursday, Oct. 31

3:27 p.m. A one-vehicle accident was reported involving a vehicle driven by Chandler M. Drain, 17, Garfield, who slid off the roadway while turning from Slack Street onto Hallack Lane and struck a gas meter, then left the scene. He was charged with careless and prohibited driving, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and unsafe tires.

3:45 p.m. A one-vehicle accident was reported involving a vehicle driven by Jessica Anthony, 18, Pea Ridge, who was backing into her yard and struck a gas meter.

4 p.m. Police received a report of harassing communications from a resident on West Pickens Road who said she had received e-mails claiming to be from police. It was determined the e-mails were a scam.

4:20 p.m. Dale W. Oxman, 31, Pea Ridge, was charged with two counts of dog at large and two counts of no city tags.

5:20 p.m. Police received a report of criminal mischief involving a deer statue knocked over and broken at a residence on South Curtis Avenue.

11:13 p.m. Police assisted Benton County Sheriff’s Oÿce with a welfare check at a residence on North Arkansas Highway 94 involving a person who reportedly had taken too many sleeping pills, was hallucinating and is bi-polar. The scene was turned over to BCSO when deputies arrived.

Friday, Nov. 1

9:05 a.m. Police received a report of a dog at large at City Park that jumps the fence of a residence south of the park. The reporting party said he saw the dog chase a female who was walking a dog on a leash and heard it barking and growling at her. He said he eventually saw the dog picked up by someone in a pickup truck. He said he has seen the dog jump the fence and get into the park numerous times. As a result of the investigation, the dog’s owner, Alen Keith Hoskins, 52, Pea Ridge, was cited for dog at large.

12:30 p.m. A resident of Hickman Drive reported the theft of his wife’s purse from his unlocked vehicle.

3:05 p.m. Police were notified of a small dog found on Benton Drive; the dog did not have a collar or tags. It was secured at Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

5 p.m. Residents of Hunter Drive reported their daughter had been bullied on the school bus and they believed no one was doing anything about it. They complained to the police that the school would not give them information about the child who had bullied their daughter. Police told them school oÿcials may not release information about a child to anyone other than the child’s parents or guardians.

Saturday, Nov. 2

8:13 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Charles Street for a physical disturbance in progress involving males and females with alcohol involved. It was reported there were children present, too. People present reported a woman hit a man, then another woman hit the first woman, who hit her back, but none wanted to press charges. During the investigation, it was discovered that two people present were wanted on warrants from other departments. Police arrested Rebecca Chase, 25, Tahlequah, Okla., on a warrant for Lowell Police and Marcus D. Howard, 28, Springdale, on a warrant for Benton County.

9:38 p.m. Police received a report of a missing iPhone. The reporting party said she left her phone at church and it was missing.

Sunday, Nov. 3

1:17 p.m. A resident of Todd Circle reported possible sexual assault involving a minor child; the incident was reported to the Crimes Against Children investigator and is still under investigation.

4:14 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Willis Lane for a disturbance in progress. As a result of the investigation, the male agreed to leave the residence for a few days.

4:13 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Richards Street for terroristic threatening. The reporting party said his cousin threatened to shoot him and was reportedly nearby with an AR-15. One of the suspects had reportedly left the residence to go to a residence in Bella Vista. Both Bella Vista Police and Benton County Sheriff’s deputies assisted in the investigation. The suspect was found in a vehicle in Pea Ridge; no weapons were found in the vehicle. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Blake Anthony Moser, 26, Pea Ridge, for third degree assault on a family or household member, and Eddie J. Moser, 29, Bella Vista, for third degree assault on a family or household member. Both men were booked into the Benton County Jail.

Monday, Nov. 4

9 a.m. A resident of Bentonville reported her dog was picked up by police when it ran off while she was visiting a residence in town. Police cited Kimberly Rizzio, 19, Bentonville, for dog at large.

1 p.m. Police were notified of a possible child abuse involving a 16-year-old girl who reported to school oÿ cials she was being abused by her father. It was reported to the Child Abuse Hotline. The incident is still under investigation.

10:16 p.m. Police were notified by an employee of Marvin’s IGA of a possible fraud involving a phone call from someone claiming to be with Western Union. The incident is under investigation.
