Seven seniors vie for Colors Day 2013 queen

Court presentation will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday

Natalie Flippo, 17, the daughter of Roxanne Flippo, has lived in Pea Ridge for two years.

Miss Flippo is a two-time All-State Cross Country runner, four-time All-Conference track runner, and is involved in Family Career and Community Leaders of America and Future Business Leaders of America. She enjoys running, biking, volunteering for United Way, hanging out with friends and shoe shopping.

After graduation, she has earned the privilege to run cross country for the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith, where she will become a business marketing/law student.

She thinks the best thing about being a senior is finally reaching the last year of high school, and now will be able to go out and follow her dreams.

Miss Flippo will be escorted by Jacob Hall.

Bailey Lessenberry, 18, daughter of Lee Lessenberry and Michelle Ferguson, has lived in Pea Ridge for nine years.

Miss Lessenberry is a football manager, runs varsity track, and is a member of FCCLA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and National Honor Society. She is also a senior mentor. She enjoys going to church and spending time with family.

After graduation, she plans on attending the University of Arkansas.

She thinks the best thing about being a senior is getting to go home early. If she could travel anywhere in the world, she would go back to Greece.

Miss Lessenberry will be escorted by Nick DeLeon.

Hannah Pearson, 17, the daughter of Cassie Michalski and Victor Michalski, has lived in Pea Ridge for seven years.

Miss Pearson is involved in Jobs for America’s Graduates. She enjoys working at Subway and being around friends and family.

After graduation, she plans on going to college and studying to become an elementary teacher.

She thinks the best thing about being a senior is leaving school early and having super easy classes. If she could travel anywhere in the world, she would travel all over Europe.

Miss Pearson will be escorted by Cameron Tidwell.

Diana Salazar, 17, the daughter of Michael and Betty Oaks, has lived in Pea Ridge for 11 years.

Miss Salazar is involved in volleyball and softball and is a senior mentor.

She enjoys eating, playing softball, going to the movies and hanging out with friends.

After graduation, she plans on going to college and studying to become a pediatrician.

She thinks the best thing about being a senior is everything! If she could travel anywhere in the world, she would go to the Bahamas.

Miss Salazar will be escorted by Austin Horton.

Emmi Terchov, 17, is the daughter of Minna and Alexey Terchov, has lived in Pea Ridge for three months.

Miss Terchov is involved in jazz band, choir and FCA. She enjoys writing music and playing the piano. She loves spending time with family and her friends.

After graduation, she plans on studying at John Brown University and being a teacher.

She thinks the best thing about being a senior is spending her senior year in America. She is an exchange student from Finland. If she could travel anywhere in the world, she would go to Paris, France, the city of love.

Miss Terchov will be escorted by Levi Pitts.

Brittney Thomas, 18, the daughter of

Terry Thomas and Dee Boen, has lived in Pea Ridge for five years.

Miss Thomas is a member of NHS, Student Council, varsity cheerleader and senior mentor.

She enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys hunting and fishing.

After graduation, she plans on attending the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith.

She thinks the best thing about being a senior is easy classes and getting to go home early. If she could travel anywhere in the world,

she would go to Bangladesh.

Miss Thomas will be escorted by Evan Tillman.

Kristian Kaye Wing, 18, daughter of Melinda McDaniel, has lived in Pea Ridge for two years. Miss Wing is involved with JAG and journalism. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, being a nanny and country concerts.

After graduation, she plans to pursue anearly education degree to become a thirdgrade or kindergarten teacher.

She thinks the best thing about being a senior is easy classes and graduating. If she could travel to anywhere in the world, she would go to Paris or Bora Bora.
