Letter to the Editor

Darr should resign...

Editor,

It appears we now have the male equivalent of ex-State Treasurer Martha Shoffner in the person of Lt. Governor Mark Darr. And, of course, like Shoffner, he is not going to voluntarily resign even though there is fairly strong evidence he violated state ethics rules including the use of his state issued credit card for personal purchases. Add to that, his getting driven around the state by, I believe, a State Trooper because he didn't want to drive unsafely while talking on his cellphone. Give me a break. Finally, there are questions about how he has spent money in his campaign account.

If this is not enough to remove any credibility one may have, I don't know what is. I suggest Darr graciously resign and go back to tossing pizza dough.
