PEA RIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Monday, Dec. 2

1 p.m. Police were contacted by medical personnel at Northwest Medical Center about a patient who was brought to the hospital, but is no longer conscious, in order to contact next of kin. Police located the house which was empty but had pets, two dogs and a bird. It was discovered that another resident of the home was in a nursing facility. Next of kin was notified and the dogs were taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic per the request of the next of kin.

1 p.m. Police received a report of criminal mischief and a possible burglary involving a window opened in the back of an unoccupied apartment, a door kicked in and it appeared someone is going in and sleeping.

3:21 p.m. Police were notified of a suspicious circumstance involving a male, wearing dark clothes, hanging around the Post Oÿ ceacting strange. Police were unable to locate the suspect.

3:55 p.m. Police were notified of a driver of a silver SUV on Hayden Road near Gates Lane who appeared to be under the influence of drugs, alcohol or suffering from a medical condition. Upon investigation, police found the driver, Patricia Germaine, 40, Pea Ridge, passed out. She was arrested for DWI and refusal to submit.

4:38 p.m. A resident of Benton Drive reported receiving a cashier’s check in the mail for $2,750; and reported it was a scam according to an oÿ cial at her bank.

9:34 p.m. Police were dispatched to Pea Ridge Intermediate School for an alarm. The building was secure; school oÿ cials werenotified.

10:12 p.m. Police were dispatched to the old movie theater on North Curtis Avenue because the reporting party said there were lights being turned on in the building. Police said the building was secure.

11:58 p.m. A resident of North Curtis Avenue reported a man outside her residence acting suspicious. Police were unable to locate the man.
