Lenora Marie Patton

Lenora Marie Patton, 85, of Pea Ridge, died Saturday, Aug. 24, at her home.

She was born Aug.

10, 1928, at Rogers, to Lee Drymon and Nancy Wood Drymon.

A lifetime resident of the area, she was selfemployed with her husband on a dairy farm near Pea Ridge, and also was employed at various businesses in the area. She wasa member of The Ridge Church in Pea Ridge where she taught Sunday School for many years and enjoyed church activities.

She loved to visit with her children and family read, play Scrabble, and care for her dachshund, Freddie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coin Patton in 1979, two sisters Pastor Berniece Patton and Bonnie Anderson; and one brother, John Drymon.

Survivors include four sons, Bill Patton of Avoca, Michael Patton and Chris Patton both of Pea Ridge,and Joe Patton of Oregon;

two daughters, Regina Rinie of Western Grove, Arkansas, and Patsy Sledge of Heber Springs, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at The Ridge Church in Pea Ridge.

Funeral service was at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, with pastor Bonnie Austin o◊ciating.

Burial will be at Buttram Chapel Cemetery.

Bertha Pennington, 97, of Rogers, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Innisfree Health& Rehab in Rogers. She was born Oct.

13, 1915, at Krypton, Kentucky, to Mike Frost andNancy Hill Frost.

She worked for Louisville Slugger Bat Company in Louisville, Kentucky, and Krispy Kitchen division of Tyson Food for eight years.

She loved to fish and growoutdoor flowers. She enjoyed collectables and going to garage sales.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Sarah Miller and Barbara Ann Pennington; one brother, Melvin Frost; and three sisters, Bess Frost, Viola Frost and Eliza Combs.

Survivors include fi ve sons, Donald Gene McIntosh of San Jose, Ill., Kenneth Ray McIntosh, Ford McIntosh Jr. and Wayne McIntosh, all of Rogers, and Dorse Pennington of Tishomingo, Okla.; two daughters, Dorothy Hill ofRogers and Linda Sue Hiller of Canyon, Texas; one brother, Roy Frost of Union, Kentucky; one sister, Mable Watts of Hazard, Kentucky;

14 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 25, at the funeral home.

Service was at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 26, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge with Pastor Rick Booyer o◊ciating.

Burial was in Bayless Cemetery.
