Swap meet set

GARFIELD - A swap meet is set for 6 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 10, at Flying RF Feed, Garfi eld.

The public is welcome to buy, sell or trade animals, tack, supplies, cages. There is no admission charge. No horses or cattle allowed.

Hot Diggety Dog Dance set

SELIGMAN, Mo - A Hot Diggety Dog Dance will be 7-10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Seligman Chamber Event Center on North Missouri Highway 37, sponsored by the Seligman Chamber of Commerce.

There will be free hot dogs provided by the Chamber;

bring a side dish. Admission is $4 each, teenagers get in free. No alcohol orsmoking allowed. Jerry Smith will provide the music. Prizes, drawings and 50/50 . For information, call 417-662-3612 or 479-381-2133. Truck and Tractor pull set

SELIGMAN, Mo. - The annual Truck and Tractor Pull is at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Ruby’s Event Park on Mo. Hwy. 37 south of Seligman, sponsored by the Seligman Chamber of Commerce.

Spring River rules apply.

Admission is $10 adult, free for children 12 and younger. Bring a lawn chair, some bleachers provided. Enjoy the excitement. Food concessions will be available.

Train Ride slated

SELIGMAN, Mo. - The train ride to Van Buren, Ark., will be Saturday, Oct. 12, sponsored by the Seligman Chamber of Commerce. This will be an all-day trip because we will attend the arts and craft days in Van Buren. The ride includes going though the Boston Mountains, across rivers, across three high trestles, go though Winslow tunnel and stop in VanBuren. For information, call 417 -662-3612 or 662-3450.
