County Hall meeting slated

Benton County will holding a County Hall meeting at 6 p.m.

Monday, April 15, at the Pea Ridge Community Center, 293 S. Curtis Ave., in the Emergency Services Building.

The purpose of this meeting is to bring county government to the citizens of Benton County.

This meeting will include surrounding areas such as Bella Vista and Garfield. The following Justices of the Peace will attend the meeting: Pat Adams of Pea Ridge, Mike McKenzie of Garfield and Joel Jones of Bella Vista. Other county elected officials who will be there are: BobClinard, county judge; Kelley Cradduck, sheriff; Tena Obrien, county clerk; Gloria Peterson, collector; and Bear Chaney, assessor.

They will be available to answer questions regarding law enforcement, ambulance services, property assessments, taxes, county road issues, emergency services, county planning and more.

Assessment and tax statements have recently been mailed out. This is agreat opportunity to ask questions about how the county determines the values that are placed on your property.

The public is invited to come out and meet the elected officials and bring their questions and concerns.

County officials expressed appreciation to Mayor Jackie Crabtree for allowing the use of the Community Services Building.
