Dorsey named bank president

— Trevor Dorsey, former resident of Pea Ridge, wasnamed president of First United Bank in Holdenville, Okla ., accordingto Greg Massey, United Bank CEO. Dorsey replaces Richard Carr who accepted another position First United as Director of Community Banks.

Dorsey earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Sports Management Finance from Southwest Baptist University in 1997.

He is also a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU.

Dorsey has more than 16 years of banking experience. Prior to joining First United in 2010, he served as president of First National Bank in Holdenville.

“First United is a highly respected banking organization which I’m proud to be associated with and I’m excited about this opportunity to lead the very capable team in Holdenville,” Dorsey said.

“Trevor’s experience in all aspects of banking will be invaluable to us as we continue to grow in the Holdenville market,” said Massey. He is a great fit for our organization and I believe he is an excellent choice to lead our Holdenville bank,” Massey added.

Dorsey and his wife, Beth Spivey Dorsey, have two sons, Tayton, 5, and Mason, 1. They are very active in First Baptist Church and Holdenvilleyouth sports.
