PEA RIDGE — Granny’s Quilts of Love
Granny’s Quilts of Love met Sept. 18 and had a special guest, Kim Dutton, from the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation. Dutton talked about how excited the children were when they receive a quilt from the club. The smile on their faces say it all.
Some of the children are alone in the hospital while their single parent or both parents work and take care of the rest of the family and are unable to stay with them. The quilts give them comfort.
Club members have made 14,000 quilts since the project started 10 years ago. We are truly thankful for the support the community of Pea Ridge gives us.
