Centenarian celebrates

Pauline Webb Foster is 100 years old

— Pauline Foster was born in Pea Ridge, Sept. 13, 1912.

Her parents were Ethel (Frazier) Webb and Tolbert “Todd” Webb of Pea Ridge.

She was the third of seven girls and is the only survivor.

Pauline married Coll Arnold Foster (1907-1997) in 1933 and they had one child, Barbara Jane, who was born April 13, 1938.

Jane married Jerry Weiser of Vaughn (1934-2007); they had three children, Debbie, Terrie and Patrick.

Mrs. Foster moved into town 20 years ago and her daughter continues to raise cattle with Patrick on the same farm that Pauline grew up on during the Great Depression.

Mrs. Foster graduatedfrom Pea Ridge High School and helped with the family farm and orchard runningthe apple evaporator with her twin sister, Maurine.

Over the years, she worked in downtown Pea Ridge at Putnam’s Department Store, Pea Ridge Drug Store, Dairy Park Drive-In and Hi-Dee-Ho Drive-In.

She loves her family and has had many family gatherings in her home over the years. She is a long-time member of the Pea Ridge Church of Christ.

Mrs. Foster has three grandchildren, Debbie Martin of Bentonville, Teresa Jayne and husband, Billy, of Siloam Springs, and Patrick Weiser and wife, Cathy, of Pea Ridge; seven great-grand children, all of Little Rock; and one greatgreat-grandchild.
