Voters in northeast Benton County municipalities have choices to make; elections are Tuesday, Nov. 6.
In Pea Ridge, two people are seeking one City Council seat in Pea Ridge.
In Gateway, all five aldermen are contested.
In Garfield, three aldermen are contested.
In Little Flock, two aldermen are contested.
In Pea Ridge, Steve Guthrie has filed for re-election. Mitzi Warner Taylor is running against him.
Guthrie, 46, has been in Pea Ridge since 1996 and on the Pea Ridge Volunteer Fire and Ambulance departments. He owns and operates Guthrie Heating and Air.
Taylor, 43, moved to Pea Ridge from Eureka Springs her junior year of high school and graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1987. She is a business planning analyst for Strategic Partners in Bentonville, a supplier to Wal-Mart.
