Swift crowned queen

— Miss Taylor Madison Swift was crowned Homecoming Queen 2012 Friday night. She was escorted by Austin Easterling and Garrett Morgan.

Swift, 17, the daughter of Andrew Swift and Julie Bush, has lived in Pea Ridge for nine years.

Her school activities include FCCLA, NHS and varsity football manager.

Her hobbies include shopping, fishing and hanging out with family and friends. Miss Swift’s plans after high school are going to college, getting a degree in lower elementary education and becoming a teacher.

Other Homecoming maids were:

◊Miss Haylee Nichole Bowman, 17, daughter of Ronald and Beverly Bowman, was escorted by Jayse Anderson and Zach Norris.

◊Miss Alessia Julmy, 18, daughter of Monica and Roger Julmy and host parents Eddie and Cathy Yockey, was escorted by Daniel Beard and Lucas Fancher.

◊Miss Reaganne Elizabeth Rhine, 17, daughter of John and Katie Rhine, was escorted by Dalton Morgan and Braxton Caudill.

◊Madison Nicole Rose, 17, daughter of Randy and Danielle Rose, escorted by Charlie Holliday and Jonah Torres.

◊Miss Haley Nicole Roughton, 17, daughter of Russell and Tracey Roughton, was escorted by Nick DeLeon and Zack Oldebeken.

◊Miss Kasey Nicole Smith, 17, daughter of Ken and Jani Smith, was escorted by Dayton Winn and Blake Roughton.
