LETTER TO THE EDITOR

— Moore endorsed

To the Editor,

A friend of mine and local Pea Ridge resident is running for state representative this November.

I’m referring to my friend, Mark Moore. You may have read some of his many columns in this paper.

I would like to take a minute of your time to talk about Mark and this race.

Mark is a guy who will not merely go along to get along. I think we have far too much of that in Washington and Little Rock now. Mark is running as an independent for District 95 which covers Pea Ridge, parts of Bella Vista and the northeast corner of Rogers. In many races the independents face enormous challenges in our two-party dominated system. That said, I think Mark has a very good shot at winning this race and representing us with true principled conservative ideas and solutions.

Mark is a guy who carefully and diligently weighs the options on every issue he looks at. That level of commitment is something we desperately need in government right now.

Mark’s only opponent is running on the Republican ticket. She may be a wonderful lady, I don’t know her. But, unfortunately, Icannot find any candidate surveys Sue Scott has completed. That’s a problem for me because I like to have the candidate’s positions in writing so that we may hold them accountable once in office. I believe Mark has answered every survey that he has received and therefore we can know where he stands. Mark has been endorsed by Arkansas Right to Life and Conservative Arkansas as well.

I am a strong conservative and usually vote Republican, but in this particular race I believe we have a better alternative in Mark Moore.

Voters can read Mark’s positions at ArkansasVotersGuide.com. You can also learn more about Mark at his website mooreforarkansas.com

Take a close look at his positions and consider voting for my friend Mark Moore and possibly supporting him as well.
