Beta Alpha of ESA
Beta Alpha of ESA will meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 4 at the School Heritage Building.
Anyone interested in learning more about the organization, getting involved in the community or ready to join is invited to attend.
The agenda will include adopting a family, Kids or Angels for Christmas, and planning our “Cocoa for aCause” event in January.
Granny’s Quilts of Love
Granny’s Quilts of Love met at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 13, at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge. Fifteen members were present along with three guests: Lilly Fortner, Jessica Fortner and Emma Fortner, all granddaughters of Judy Fortner.
The total number of quilts made is 14,385, pillows 3,713 and hats 1,629.
The club members had a good productive work-day meeting. All the members of Granny’s had a enjoyable work-day with fun, fellowship and followed with a delicious lunch. Thanks to all the ‘Grannies’ who work so hard making the quilts for the children at ArkansasChildren’s Hospital.
The Christmas lunch is at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec.
6, at Bella Vista Lutheran Church. Members will meet in the parking lot of Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge at 9 a.m. to carpool. Club members wishing to participate in the gift exchange may bring a small gift not over $5. The Christmas lunch is hosted by theFriendly Stitchers/Granny’s of Bella Vista.
The first meeting for next year will be Jan. 15, 2013. For information, contact Mary Margaret Webb at 451-8640.
